# Glossary

**Active request**<br />A non-cancelled request still consuming the applicable plan allowance.

**BYOK**<br />Bring your own key. The firm supplies its own compatible AI provider endpoint and credential.

**Capture field**<br />A named value the correctness evaluation attempts to extract from an upload.

**Client link**<br />A secure, request-scoped URL used by a client without a staff account.

**Correctness expectation**<br />Client- and reviewer-relevant criteria describing what the requested document should contain.

**Evidence bundle**<br />A portable JSON record containing evidence entries, hashes, and OpenTimestamps proofs.

**Firm**<br />The isolated NeuDocs tenant containing staff, clients, requests, settings, and subscription state.

**Manifest**<br />Machine-readable metadata included with a request export.

**OpenTimestamps**<br />A protocol that proves data existed by a certain time by anchoring a digest to Bitcoin.

**RLS**<br />PostgreSQL row-level security, used to enforce firm isolation at the database layer.

**Signed URL**<br />A short-lived storage URL authorizing one specific upload or download operation.

**Template snapshot**<br />The copy of template items stored with a request so later template edits do not change sent work.

**Webhook**<br />A signed HTTP POST sent to a firm endpoint when a subscribed NeuDocs event occurs.
